Joshua passed away on 20th March 2008 with a rare cancer called Rhabdoid. He was 1 year, 1 month, 1 week 1 day old. He was diagnosed at 4 months old.
Josh was a real character, rarely cried and was always smiling - even whilst having chemotherapy. He loved so many things: Baby TV, Tigger, Iggle Piggle, syringes, Baby TV, looking in the mirror at himself, cucumber, Baby TV. He loved to chatter in his baby speak. In fact it was hard to keep him quiet !! He also loved being read to and sung to. Did I say he liked Baby TV ?
Joshua never had a day in his life without love. His spontaneous smile and his infectious laugh reflected the happiness he felt. He was such a strong boy with his father’s good looks, his mother’s chin and the longest eyelashes that we’ve ever seen.
Josh went through so much and never ever complained. He was a tough little guy with a brave heart and a pure innocent soul. It was because of these qualities that Josh touched so many lives.
As he deteriorated, Josh was paralysed, lost his eyesight and his ability to make noises. But he was such a fighter. He would give a huge sigh when we kissed him or blink his eyes when we spoke to him.
We will never forget our beautiful baby Joshua who is finally at peace and is no longer suffering. We are truly grateful and blessed to have had Joshua in our lives, even if it was for such a short while. We are gonna miss you little man, you are always loved and will never be forgotten

A darling little boy who now has his angel wings, God bless you josh, keep watch over your mummy and daddy, they are so sad that you are no longer with them, you are such a good boy, go play with the angels and all their toys
